I bleed purple and gold. I started loving watching the game when I saw and hear my dad cheer for Lakers. One night I heard my dad shouting, yealing and screaming saying Let’s go Lakers! So i wonder what the heck he is doing, it is just a sport show. Why is it too intense?! Until when I seat next to him I saw the score board 72 Lakers and 73 Spurs. And the time was just 0.4 seconds in the 4th quarter. In my thought that’s over, no chance for Lakers to win. But my dad was so passionate he is still screaming and shouting giving out all his voice as if that could help. Suddenly he was so silent and I turned my eyes on the television. 0.4 secs no chance at all! I remember Payton did the imbound, When the ref gave the ball to him he started moving his hand and try to find someone. Kobe can’t get the ball he got double team. But this small guy name Derek Fisher just quickly run and had a chance to received the pass from Payton after getting the ball he just throw the ball in the hoop. And the ball went through and just made it on time! They won the game and that series!
After that I appreciate the loyalty of the fans. They didn’t give up. And hopes are so high even the situation looks bad. Like my dad they bring everyhting they’ve got just to cheer their team! I was so fascinated and that day I became a Laker fan.
